For two decades Professor Alexe Rivero has been studying and practicing the Rigan Machado method of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Professor Alexe Rivero is the first Cuban born person to achieve a black belt in the Rigan Machado art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It is with great pride that he shares his skills as a professor of the art with his students as it has been shared with him.
Just as his mentors do, Professor Alexe Rivero believes that Jiu-Jitsu is much more than an art. It is a way of life. Discipline, humility and sacrifice are just the surface. The commitment that one one makes to improve their lives, and the lives around them, and to hand down this knowledge from one generation to the next is a key element of Jiu-Jitsu. Therefore, it is no surprise that his son AJ Rivero has earned his black belt and is now a professor of the Rigan Machado art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
